SINOYQX manufactures the modified melamine resin for coating solutions with Methylated high imino melamine resin and Methylated urea-formaldehyde resins products, since from 2002; and offers an alternative of CYMEL® 325, 385, and U-65.
SINOYQX Methylated high imino melamine resins, which are YQX-325, YQX-384(Fully aqueous), YQX-385, YQX-585, and U-65, are mainly formed by the reaction of methanol and hydroxymethyl melamine in different molar ratios to form partially methyl etherified and high imino methyl etherified melamine resins. These products can be reacted with functional polymers containing hydroxyl, carboxyl and amide groups to produce products with excellent flexibility, scratch resistance and adhesion, which are widely used in coating systems based on acrylic, polyester, alkyd, epoxy resin and polyurethane.
SINOYQX YQX-325 is a methyl etherified amino resin with a high imino content that cures quickly without the need for strong acid catalysts. It can react with polymers containing hydroxyl, amide and carboxyl groups.

SINOYQX YQX-585 is a methyl etherified melamine formaldehyde resin. It is completely soluble in water and partially soluble in alcohols, polyols, lipids, glycol ethers and chlorinated solvents; it has good compatibility with short-medium oil alkyd resins, polyester resins, acrylic resins, epoxy resins and cellulose and other film-forming substances, especially with water-based acrylic resins and polyester resins.
